To the email list of CAOS: Computer Association of SIUE CAOS is a group of SIUE students, faculty, and alumni who have a personal or professional interest in computers and computing issues. The email address for this list is: caos@siue.edu . The purpose of this list is to serve as contact to the members of CAOS, as a place to discuss club activities, and a forum for topics relevant to the purpose of CAOS. This is an unmoderated list, so please use it appropriately. CAOS also has a news group for general discussion. It is siue.cs.club, and can be accessed from most of the campus servers. If you ever need to unsubscribe (and we hope you don't), send a request to majordomo@siue.edu. Your request should have one line that reads: unsubscribe caos@siue.edu There are also other commands you can use to get additional information about this list. Using Caos
To post a message to all the list members, send email to caos@lists.siue.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Caos
Subscribe to Caos by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   If the email address you are using to subscribe to this list is your campus email address (i.e. one ending in @siue.edu), then you do not need to enter a password here -- to log into the "Subscribers" area below, you would use your e-ID and password instead. If the email address you are using to subscribe to this list is not your campus email address (i.e. one not with ending in @siue.edu), you can choose to enter a password for this list below. Do not use a valuable password as it may occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
